All summer, the Myrtle Beach area bustles with vacationers
experiencing all the great accommodations, activities, attractions, and
restaurants in town. Every day is magical, but the 4th of July in
particular is a spectacle unlike any other. Summer is our favorite season, and
nothing says summer like this classic holiday.
If you find yourself fortunate enough to be taking a trip to
North Myrtle Beach or Myrtle Beach during 4th of July week, you can
catch all sorts of fun activities that celebrate our Independence. Broadway at
the Beach will have live music, entertainment, street performers, and fireworks
over the lake. Barefoot Landing hosts a special fireworks show at 10:15 pm. In
Murrell’s Inlet (just south of Myrtle Beach), The 30th Annual July 4th
Boat Parade begins at 5 pm. Finally, the USS North Carolina (just across the
state line in North Carolina) will present the Battleship Blast Celebration and
a fireworks display.
No matter where you are, you can easily find an amazing
fireworks show. Myrtle Beach will have beach fireworks from the 2nd
Ave pier. In North Myrtle Beach, catch the fireworks from the Cherry Grove Pier
in front of the Prince Resort. If you're staying in an Ocean Drive Beach Rentals property, this would be the closest fireworks show to you. We welcome all our guests for an unforgettable 4th
of July week, and if you missed out this year, give us a call to book your
vacation rental for next year!
