The Grand Strand is home to several waterfront communities from the North Carolina border, all the way down to Georgetown. The northernmost community is Little River, situated directly north of North Myrtle Beach. This little town is famous for its quiet neighborhoods, sea excursions, casino boats, and fresh seafood. Celebrating Little River’s heritage this weekend is the 32nd annual Blue Crab Festival.
The Blue Crab festival is so huge, they can’t fit it into one day! Visitors will delight in the many forms of entertainment such as live music, outdoor games, kids’ activities, and of course the crab, fish, and shrimp that come straight out of the nearby ocean. Come out and enjoy the festivities Saturday and Sunday, May 18th and 19th from 9 AM – 6 PM. The festival will take place on Waterfront Drive along the Intracoastal Waterway.
If you’re coming in from out of town, give us a call. We have some great condos available at unbelievable last-minute pricing. And as always, we would love to see your festival photos! Post them on our Facebook page and tell us about your fun day.
