North Myrtle Beach is Represented at the Vacation Rental Managers Association Annual Conference in Orlando

Jake Foutz, Marketing Director for Ocean Drive Beach Rentals in North Myrtle Beach, attended the Vacation Rental Managers Association (VRMA) Annual Conference October 9th – 12th in Orlando, Florida. Ocean Drive Beach Rentals attends both regional and national VRMA events to better understand the vacation rental industry and to gain a competitive advantage of the current market trends that affect our niche of vacation travel. This conference was the second-largest annual conference in the history of the Association.

Orlando hosted over 60 educational seminars and incredible keynote speakers this past weekend at the Annual VRMA Conference. Hundreds of vacation rental companies throughout the country and abroad were present to take advantage of several networking opportunities with other successful companies. Conference attendees learn how to improve their company’s bottom line, better serve their homeowners, market their destination effectively, and keep guests happy to come back for more.

Ocean Drive Beach Rentals can take advantage of a lot of information that I got from the Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida. I learned quite a bit, especially about how much of an impact social media will have in the travel industry in the future. Vacation rental companies have to embrace social media tools, such as Facebook, Google +, and company blogs to stay in touch with their audience and learn what kind of services and amenities they enjoy. - Jake Foutz
